The Doctor Who fans out there can relate.
Whenever The Doctor regenerates, usually the TARDIS will change too, but it always still looks and feels like the TARDIS. Oh, sure, the colors and details may change, but all the familiar facets remain: the curved walls, the central console. It still feels the same. You know that there’s a new Doctor because it looks a little different, but you can still feel it. The heart of the TARDIS.
After this weekend, we’ll hand over the key, and our TARDIS is going to look a little different the next time you come in. But you’ll still feel her heart when you look at the walls.
May she take care of the new Doctor as well as she took care of us.
