Most little kids related Easter with the Easter Bunny. For me, and still to this day, Easter makes me think of a different jovial character.

When I was little, many Easters ago, I woke up one Easter morning to see my Easter Basket, full of the usual fare: chocolate bunnies, peanut butter eggs, jelly beans, marshmallow peeps. But this particular Easter, there was something special in the basket: The World’s Mightiest Mortal.
Actually, it was the World’s Mightiest Mortal, times two:
Ever since that Easter long ago, Captain Marvel has been a favorite character of mine. To this day, when I’m lucky enough to find an old issue at a convention, I’m taken back to that Easter morning and that basket full of the Big Red Cheese.
