Blastoff Welcomes The Tad Stones Collection

You may not recognize the name immediately, but you certainly know his work. He worked as an animator on Disney classics like The Rescuers and The Fox and the Hound. He helped develop some of EPCOT Center’s classic attractions like World of Motion and Journey into Imagination. He wrote and produced Disney animated series like Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers, Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Aladdin, Hercules and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. He co-wrote and directed the two outstanding Hellboy animated films, Sword of Storms and Blood and Iron.

But best of all, he created, wrote and produced the Disney animated series Darkwing Duck.

He’s Tad Stones, and if all of that weren’t enough, he has an amazing comic-book collection. Which we’re pleased and honored to be offering to you.

Keep watching this space for our weekly interviews with Mr. Stones as he discusses his career in animation and how his love of comics influenced him.

And head over and explore the first few offerings from the Tad Stones Collection:
